Fruit and Marriage: The Amazing Process

The way an apple tree bears fruit is essential to beginning to understand the very basic, yet mind-blowing and revolutionary concept, critical in obtaining your very own, amazing dream marriage. Now, some of you may be asking, what does fruit have to do with my marriage? Let me explain...

Have you ever seen an apple tree in the fall?

It's full of luscious apples just ready to be picked for apple cider, apple pie or applesauce. How about in the winter? The apples are long gone. Their goodness was enjoyed by everyone who picked them. Then another year passes and soon it's fall again. The apple tree is in full bloom. Imagine your marriage now. See how its like an apple tree yet?

Maybe not. But give me a moment to explain. Think back to when you and your spouse had your last argument. You both thought you were right. You both knew the other was wrong. Do you remember who gave in... if anyone? More than likely, one of you conceded a bit. You acknowledged the truth in what your partner was saying.

Picture that apple tree again, but this time... in the winter.

It no longer has any apples. It 'gave' its fruit to others. It died to itself, in a sense. Now, in the example above, the person who first gave in to the other, is like the apple tree. They died to themselves in the situation; in conceding to their spouse. To concede (give of ourselves, be selfless) its  like taking an 'apple' from us. The receiving partner is given life; a refreshing and sustaining apple, if you will.

Oh, but this isn't the end. Oh no. What happened the next fall? Did giving all of its apples mean the tree completely died in the winter? This is the important part.

To learn what happens to the apple tree, and more importantly your marriage, you'll find the answer (and so much MORE) in Chapter 9 of The 3 Lost Keys to Your Amazing Dream Marriage.

Over and over, season after season, the apple tree is teaching us an important lesson in none other than the sacred bond of marriage. For the low price of $9.99, find out today what the lost keys are to your very own amazing dream marriage!!

Divorce: Debunking the Myth of Falling Out of Love

Bill and Jane met a few years back. Instantly, they liked the other's looks, the way they kissed, their wit and because they shared the same interests, the two began a romantic relationship. They both thought falling in love was so easy with your soul mate. They thought their love would last forever.  However, after being happily married for a few years Jane and Bill, like so many others, were splitting up because they had simply, 'fallen out of love'. What happened?

Couples often say 'we just fell out of love' as the reason why their marriage is ending. In The 3 Lost Keys, we debunk the myth of being able to fall out of love with another.

What is Love?

Before we can answer what went wrong for our friend's Bill and Jane, we need to know what love is. Is love a choice, or is it a feeling, or both

Certainly anyone who has been married for any length of time knows that feelings are a very important part of the relationship. That's the fun part- ask Bill and Jane- feelings flowed freely when they first met. However, if love is a feeling, what happens when you feel anger at that person? Does your love cease for that time... or is love more than just a feeling?

How can anyone expect to feel love, every minute of every day when there are stresses of life, money, children and jobs which interfere?

Perhaps, love is more than just a feeling...

In Chapter 2 titled "Understanding Love" of "The 3 Lost Keys to Your Amazing Dream Marriage,", one can find the answer bluntly laid out of what love is and what it is not, in the marriage relationship.

WARNING! The truths revealed are to the point, and may be difficult to hear if you've been one to say you've 'fallen out of love' before. BUT IT'S SO WORTH IT FOR YOUR FUTURE RELATIONSHIPS TO READ IT NOW BEFORE ITS TOO LATE.

"If you have been caught up in this most common 'misunderstanding' of love today, as so many others have, the 'true' understanding for you is critical to your future... and its never too late."  Chapter 2, "Understanding Love", The 3 Lost Keys... to Your Amazing Dream Marriage.

Men & Women: Differences are Key!

"Every man who has wondered what in the world he did to make a woman cry, and every woman who has wondered how a man can be "so insensitive" knows...

On Sale Now! Click Here!
...there are significant differences in our emotional make up". Found in Chapter 11, of "The 3 Lost Keys", (a marriage enhancement book) this sentence speaks a truth we need to stop ignoring. Men and women are different. In every aspect and in many ways. However, the reason why these differences are important to the marriage relationship is simple, profound and life-changing.

In the book, we discuss in detail why men and women being different is key to a dream marriage relationship. Laid out clearly and in terms everyone can understand, one can learn why their wife is crying and why their husband is being 'so insensitive'.

"From our chromosomes and our genetic blueprints to the way we think about things and see things. We are just... quite obviously, very different... and aren't we glad that we are?"

A great example of this is my boy/girl twins. Their first Christmas when they were just nine months old, my daughter got a Cabbage Patch doll. Her first reaction was to hug and kiss it. A few moments later my son found the new doll. His first reaction, to throw it. From the very beginning, men and women are different and its a good thing we are.

You really must read this chapter, better yet the entire book, to fully understand the simple, yet life-changing conclusion to why men and women being different is key to a successful, amazing dream marriage. You will not learn: that its because you complete each other, or its because you were meant to 'balance each other out.' The answer is SO MUCH BIGGER THAN THIS. It is so much BETTER. Your marriage and your life will be transformed. So why wait?

Read the book, join the conversation and GET THE DREAM MARRIAGE YOU'VE ALWAYS WANTED!

Goals and Hopes in a Marriage: One is Fine, the Other is Not!

What's the difference... and how does this affect your marriage?

The answer is found in Chapter 13 of, The 3 Lost Keys... To Your Amazing Dream Marriage; which is titled, "Goals and Hopes: One is Fine, the Other is Not!" Knowing the difference is something we all (ahem, more often us ladies) struggle with, and the tension it can put on a marriage can be devastating. If you haven't read the book yet, no problem, we can give you a little sample here that will explain the difference between goals and hopes in a marriage and why one is fine while the other is not. But if you want the full answer and more, you'll have to read the book.

Scenario One:

You want your husband, or soon-to-be-husband, to read our marriage enhancement book. You've purchased the eBook version, uploaded it to his Kindle, bookmarked the first page and wait a few days. You may even wait a week. Suddenly, he does something which makes you think, "He hasn't read that chapter yet." Next thing you know, you have his Kindle in your hands, pull up the eBook and sure enough notice he hasn't even read the introduction.

Racing down the stairs with the evidence in your hands, you bring up the most recent infraction on his part and how in chapter 12 it says 'the man is the one who has to...' (I can't give it all away!) Now you are really rolling, telling him all you wanted him to do was just read the book and he couldn't even take time to do this for you. He's let you down, again. Oh, and that trash he was supposed to take out is still overflowing and the toilet he was supposed to fix is still running after you flush it. Yeah, that's right you say, I remember all the things you haven't done that I wanted you to do.

Now its his turn. He reminds you of all the times you have let him down. Like to call the plumber and have him come fix the toilet and buy some more garbage bags because last time he checked, we were out. The next thing you know, you are in an all out argument and aren't even 100% sure what started it. Well, we do

Scenario Two:

Same situation. You want your husband, or soon-to-be-husband, to read the marriage self-help book. Rather than buy it and put it on his Kindle, you text him the link to do it when he can. Again, one night he does something which makes you think, "He sure hasn't read that chapter yet." Instead of running to his Kindle, seeing if he has read it and letting him know about it, you find another way. You gently ask him (at a later time so as not to imply the comment he made prompted you in any way) if he got the text with the link to a great marriage self-help book.

At that time, he replies he opened the link, purchased the book and read the first few chapters. He loves that its short, easy to understand and for the first time, not written by some professional marriage counselor, but rather a man much like himself. Its easy to read, he says, and he can not wait to finish it.

Now, which scenario sounds better? Which one did the wife have a goal and which one did she have a hope? What one had a better outcome?

Remember, for more on this chapter and how to have the dream marriage you've always wanted, read our book, "The 3 Lost Keys... to Your Amazing Dream Marriage."

Spring is in the air...

and many engagements have, (or will have) occurred by the start of the summer. It just seems to happen every year. One of the things that seems to get lost in the "well deserved" excitement surrounding an engagement these days, (and the ensuing planning process), is the old fashioned, but highly advisable... premarital counseling. www.onlinemarriagecourses.com.

The Mayo Clinic's definition...

Premarital counseling is a type of therapy that helps couples prepare for marriage. Premarital counseling can help ensure that you and your partner have a strong, healthy relationship - giving you a better chance for a stable and satisfying marriage. Premarital counseling can also help you identify weaknesses in the relationship which could become problems during your marriage.

Premarital counseling might be offered through Family Therapists, religious institutions, etc. In fact some spiritual leaders require premarital counseling before they will agree to marry couples.

Pre-marriage counseling is indeed becoming more and more important to more and more couples these days. For some, it is as simple as calling the family pastor or clergy. For others it involves looking up a licensed family therapist, and scheduling an appointment, (and paying them). For some though. it can be more difficult to figure out what is best for them...and what they are comfortable with. And maybe they don't have someone "they trust" who would be willing to help them. At Dream Marriages, we have access to some resources many will find helpful. Like our recently published book, "The 3 Lost Keys...To Your Amazing Dream Marriage,"

The History of Valentines Day... (the one we like).

Saint Valentine's Day, also known as Valentine's Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine, is a holiday observed on February 14 each year. It is celebrated in many countries around the world, although it is not a holiday in most of them.
St. Valentine's Day began as a celebration of an early Christian saint named Valentinus. A popular account of Saint Valentine of Rome, states that he was imprisoned for performing weddings for soldiers
who were forbidden to marry and for ministering to Christians, who were persecuted under the Roman Empire. According to legend, during his imprisonment, he healed the daughter of his jailer, Asterius. An embellishment to this story states that before his execution he wrote her a letter signed "Your Valentine" as a farewell.
The day was first associated with romantic love in the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in the High Middle Ages, when the tradition of courtly love flourished. In 18th-century England, it evolved into an occasion in which lovers expressed their love for each other by presenting flowers, offering candy, and sending greeting cards (known as "valentines"). In Europe, Saint Valentine's Keys are given to lovers "as a romantic symbol and an invitation to unlock the giver’s heart". Valentine's Day symbols that are used today

Dream Marriages

Welcome to "Dream Marriages"!

I'm happy to introduce the launch of our new blog... "Dream Marriages," and invite everyone to join us as often as you can. We are all about marriage relationships and what they can truly be..."if" we understand a few very important things. We are going to be talking regularly about what these "time tested", but virtually "lost" principles are on this blog. We love comment posts, questions, everything about the marriage relationship.
I'd also like to invite you to check out our new websites, our book, "The 3 Lost Keys...To Your Amazing Dream Marriage", and our 6 session, interactive, multi-media marriage "Your Forever Dream Marriage", created to both "Prepare" those not yet married for a long and wonderful relationship, and to "Enhance" the relationships of those already married. So please come and see what it's all about, and visit our websites at www.the3lostkeys.com, and at www.onlinemarriagecourses.com.

Valentine's day is coming up... and you know what that means? Men all over are turning their thoughts toward what to do for that "special woman" in their lives to show them how much they "love" them. At Dream Marriages, we think this should be a full-time and ongoing event- which is in fact a 'hint' about one of the 3 lost keys in our book.
Therefore, if you do not have a gift yet, we think our book (in either eBook form or paperback) or our multi-media marriage course, (in either CD or web based format), would be a great gift, and in fact...a "life changing" gift, for either the man or the woman on this "celebration of love" day.

Teaser: How do you define a successful marriage relationship?

One of the ways to see the true measure of a relationship, is to poll each of the partners individually and anonymously. Then ask them straight out, in what areas they feel their marriage relationship could be improved upon...with no chance of their "better half" ever seeing or hearing of their answers. Then, (and sometimes "only" then) will you see the "true" measure of the union. You see, some couples stay together for many, many years, and people "marvel" about their longevity and assume that, "to make it that many years...they must be ecstatically happy in their marriage". And in some cases this is true. But this is "not" the case all that often, even in the "enduring" marriages. You see, there is a "huge" difference between (simply "putting up" with each other for 60 years, or "settling in and becoming "comfortable" with each other, and learning how to "put up" with each others habits)...and what can be...ie., "experiencing and enjoying fully", the kind of marriage relationship that we all long for for those 60+ years we all expect to be together. The kind wherein "both partners, individually and anonymously, will tell you they are truly enjoying their relationship", and are more "enamored" with their spouse than they have ever been.

The difference...
The difference is in the understanding of what "love" truly is between a man and a woman, (either preparing for, or already being) married. Or I should say, what each of them "understand" it to be. Is it unconditional? Is it romantic ecstasy? Is it conditional? Is it selfless or selfish? "The 3 Lost Keys...To Your Amazing Dream Marriage" goes into this... and
much, much more which is absolutely critical for a truly "great" marriage. And "Your Forever Dream Marriage", is an amazing tool which is created for two people to "truly learn" about each other...and how to bond, how important a foundation in a marriage is...identifying what that foundation will be in "your" marriage...and much, much more. So join us, and take a look at our websites and products. We exist to promote "great" marriages...and we hope you will help us.
